of Director NIPS QAU Islamabad. Fee can be paid through challan form in the HBL
account # 02940006215103, HBL QAU Branch.
v The
processing fee is Rs. 2000/- for Serial #1-3 and Rs. 1000/- for Serial # 4-5.
v Applicants
who want to apply from abroad for teaching posts should send USD 100 as a
processing fee.

Let’s Know about National
Institute of Pakistan Studies NIPS QAU University
Background:-
Pakistan Studies, as most region
studies, appeared during a period of public emergency in Pakistan. The
partition of East Pakistan in 1971 brought into center different parts of
public life in Pakistan. The misfortune drove the decision world class and the
intelligentsia to the end that there was a critical need to concentrate on
Pakistani society in a way that would add to public union and strength. The for
one thing shoot of such reasoning was the foundation, in 1973, of a Department
of Pakistan Studies at the nation's head college, the University of
Islamabad(now Quaid-I-Azam University). Interest in Pakistan Studies expanded
and by 1976 an exhaustive program for its advancement was chalked out.
Extraordinary interest was displayed at the most noteworthy political level and
a parliamentary act accommodated the foundation of a few Pakistan Studies in
different colleges of Pakistan. Simultaneously much exertion went into the
advancement of educational plans for Pakistan Studies at the auxiliary level.
In 1978, the Government pronounced Pakistan Studies an obligatory subject at
all degrees of training up to the principal degree, including proficient
degree.
In April 1983, the Government of
Pakistan laid out the National Institute of Pakistan Studies at the
Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad. It began working from 01 July, 1983.The
Institute is an independent association and is a piece of the Quaid-I-Azam
University, Islamabad. Its scholastic projects are dependent upon the
endorsement by the Academic Council of the University which grants degrees to
the understudies of the Institute.
The Director is the scholar and
authoritative top of the Institute.

Train scientists.
Lay out M.A., M.Phil, and PhD and
different projects in the applicable discipline as per the principles and
necessities of the Quaid-I-Azam University
Advance participation in between
disciplinary relationship with different Centers, educating and research
foundations
Organize meetings/classes for the
advancement of instructing and research.
Lead educating and research in such
specific fields as allocated to it by the Federal Government in counsel with
the Quaid-I-Azam University.
The President, Islamic Republic of
Pakistan, on the proposals of the Federal Cabinet, endorsed the foundation of
the Chair on Quaid-I-Azam and Freedom Movement at the National Institute of
Pakistan Studies, Quaid-I-Azam University, and Islamabad. The Chair began
working in September, 1993.

Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

To do investigate on the opportunity development.

To make mindfulness about the commitment of
Quaid-I-Azam among the understudies of the University by presenting courses at
the National Institute of Pakistan Studies.

To orchestrate workshops/gatherings at public and
worldwide level.

To direct research on different parts of Pakistan
after 1947.
